PR Lighting & d&b audiotechnik made a significant difference in the Amway National Convention 2009.

Malaysia - Amway Malaysia Bhd is definitely no stranger to successes and achievements. Held in the Putra Indoor Stadium, the Amway National Convention 2009 is a grand scale event attended mainly by the company’s distributing force and internal staff. Clad in red tee shirt, all the participants appeared to be moving in a fluid movement resembling a vast sea of red. With its inspirational tagline, I Make A Difference, this event is aimed to motivate and foster a stronger tie among all its employees.

For the lighting and sound aspect, rental partner, JMM Event Sdn. Bhd. is called in to supply and set up the whole system. Mr. Kent Tang from JMM Event commented on the efficiency of the system. “For a large and grand event like this, we must make sure the equipments supplied are appropriate and sufficient. For this event, we feel that d&b audiotechnik and PR Lighting are the most appropriate choice. We, of course want nothing but the best for such huge event”

For this event, JMM supplied a total of 32 units of d&b Q1 loudspeaker, 2 units of Q10 and 36 units of Q-Sub subwoofer. A total of eight Max-12 monitor are also installed. In terms of illumination, there are 34 units of PR XL 1200 moving heads to provide enough glare to light up the venue. In addition there are also 8 units of PR LED moving head and another 8 units of PR Pilot to provide effects to dazzle the crowd.

Participants have nothing but praises about the event. One of them commented about the stage design. “I find the stage design very fresh and original. I especially like the revolving circle of logo in the middle of the stage. The lights around the logo are brilliant. It illuminates with different colors at different time. Lighting system is sufficiently used and the effects really liven up the whole event. The sound system is of course, nothing less than spectacular!”

The d&b sound equipments received warm welcome as well. “I really dislike extremely loud speakers. I don’t have to be a certified sound system professional to tell you that those are bad quality speaker. With d&b, I can feel and experience the clarity of the voice. Now this is what I called a good sound system. From this aspect alone, I can say that d&b truly lives up to its name!”
