Malaysia - From outside, the BCCK is a regular and constant head
turner. The roof is designed to form a divine looking “Ririk” leaf. The
symbolic “Ririk” leaf is actually a rainforest plant that plays an important
role in the local ecosystem and cultures. The roof is designed in such a way
that it will channel down rain water from the rooftop for the usage of
irrigation in the Center’s garden and ground.
With world-class facilities and image in mind, BCCK must make
sure that every aspects of the convention center are up to par with the
standard set. “There can be no mistake or failure. Sometimes we have guests from
overseas and we cannot bear to let them perceive us in different light”,
explained Mr. Sylvester Sintan thoroughly.
Thus, when it comes to choosing a conference system, Sintan
selects the one that best fulfills all BCCK’s requirements. “We choose TAIDEN Conference System because of its support for high number of contribution units
and strong project references. We are expecting 200 guests for some of the
events. That’s why we need to have a stable system that can support high number
of contribution units”
Installed in the spacious and grand Ground Floor’s Meeting
Venue, the TAIDEN conference system has been utilized in many events. TAIDEN system is most notably used in
the Wanita PBB Meeting recently. The event, which was attended by 20 corporate
ladies from different fields, was held to encourage women to realize and
unleash their inner talent and strengths.
“The event was great and we couldn’t have done it without a
good support conference system. We can get our message across easily to anybody
inside the conference hall. Plus, the interpreter unit proved to be extremely
useful as we have women from different races and background who have
difficulties understanding English”
According to Sintan, working with AFS Engineering (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
has so far been a joy ride. “Well, there are times when we need supports and
assistance immediately from them. It’s not like we don’t understand AFS’s
position and situation. But sometimes, things can be a bit out of control when
there’s an event going on. But AFS always try their best and provide any
assistance to us as soon as possible”
